Due to continued growth and technology advances, our client is seeking DevOps Engineers with Kubernetes, CI / CD, TKGi / PKS and other DevOps tools to build pipelines and support the development projects.

This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity and can be hybrid / remote in one of our technology hubs. Since this is meant to be a long-term direct-hire position, you must be able to work for any company in the US without Visa transfer or sponsorship and must be located in (or relocating to) one of the following locations : Phoenix, AZ;
Chicago, IL; San Francisco Bay, CA; Dallas or Austin, TX; or Charlotte, NC. In AZ, IL or CA, you’ll be hybrid.
What you will be doing :
- You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and maintenance of infrastructure and platform engineering.
- In addition, this position will deliver infrastructure as code, CI / CD patterns, containerization, CM (configuration management), servers, security and availability for a group of bright engineering-minded developers.
- You will analyze the health of the environment, the results of automated deployment scripts, as well as how user needs are being met and modify as needed.
- Keeping abreast of new technologies that could be implemented, is another important function.
What you must have :
- 7+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Experience in Kubernetes
- Experience in CI / CD pipelines
- Experience in DevOps tools (Gitlab, Harness, Artifactory, Enterprise Vault)
- TKGi, PKS Experience
- Chef or Ansible configuration management
- AWS and Terraform knowledge
- Experience delivering infrastructure as code and with configuration management.
- Other necessary skills include Linux administration, containerization / container orchestration, and infrastructure as automation.
- Excellent communication skills
- BS degree or advanced education preferred.
