Location : Waltham, MA Hybrid

Get To Know The Team :

The SS&C Intralinks team is currently searching for a Software Quality Engineer, specializing in Test Automation and have basic knowledge of TestOps, to join their team.

The Shared Services Quality Engineering Center of Excellence (QECOE) team creates and maintains test automation for cross products and ensures no regression caused by the changes been introduced.

The team is chartered with testing mission critical products for our cloud offering using cutting edge technologies. The successful candidate will work along with the Development, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams.

The team is responsible for on-time delivery of high-quality software releases. The team works together with other functions in small, highly collaborative and empowered teams.

What You Will Get To Do :

• Work in a cross-functional Scrum team, review and understand product requirements and design indicating the business needs and functionalities of the proposed application and plan for test strategy
• Develop automated test scripts for a shippable product.
• Write detailed test plan documents describing the approach to be taken for automating the feature.
• Assume ownership of test modules and / or technology areas.
• Report defects and follow up with cross teams. Repeats the testing cycle until the new application works flawlessly.
• Responds to and engages with multiple teams for escalated production issues and help test in development and production environment
• Java, Javascript , Typescript based test script automation for both API and UI testing

What You Will Bring :

• 4+ years of related work experience in a software engineering environment
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in a multi site environment with on and offshore team
• Knowledge of Quality and Systems Development methodologies
• Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects.
• Demonstrated experience with standard QA and development tools, and the ability to operate within short release cycles ·
• Ability to understand functional and technical specifications and analyze data and output logs.
• Familiarity with product development lifecycles and highly methodical test discipline
• Knowledge and experience with :
• Java, Python, TypeScript and / or JavaScript based development
• General test frameworks such as Mocha, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber
• UI test tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, WebdriverIO
• Build tools such as Gradle, Docker, Bamboo
• Understands CI / CD systems such as Jenkins, Hudson, Bambo and packaging tools including npm, rpm, chocolatey
• Database experience with SQL query
• Experience with tools like JIRA, GIT for source code management
• Hands on experience with Jenkins or GitHub for CI / CD
