Position Overview

As a Generator Installation Technician, you'll work alongside our expert installation and service teams to wire, install, and maintain standby generator systems and related electrical equipment. Your role will be critical in delivering safe, code-compliant installations and troubleshooting services for residential and light commercial generator systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull wire, bend and install conduit, and wire electrical devices and control panels
• Install electrical components for generator systems including ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches)
• Perform load testing, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting
• Assist in preparing generator sites, including trenching, piping, and setting mechanical components
• Conduct AC and DC electrical work for power generation systems
• Use electrical measurement and testing equipment proficiently and safely
• Ensure all installations meet local and national electrical codes
• Promote a safe and positive work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
