Accounts Payable Specialist
Adecco is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Burton, Ohio area. Our client, a leader in compounding materials, is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to perform administrative support involving the processing and maintenance of financial and statistical records. To accurately process and record financial data (i.e., expense reports and other accounts invoices). Pay : $21.15 to $25.00 per hour.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities :
- Manage Accounts Payable using the Companys accepted standards and procedures, utilizing accounting software.
- Process vendor invoices using a 3-way match system; process utility invoices and expense reports; special check requests when needed in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with the Company standards and practices.
- Responsible for managing end to end process for accounts payable discrepancies related to 3-way match system. Includes monitoring for 3-way match discrepancies, researching the issues, determining the solution in accordance with Company accepted rules and regulations.
- Scan invoices, if applicable.
- New vendor set up verification.
- Ability to recognize, categorize, and record expenses utilizing the Company Chart of Accounts and Approval System.
Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements :
High School diploma or equivalent.Associate Degree in Accounting / Business Administration or related field, preferred.Experience may be considered in lieu of education.Two (2) years office experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.MUST HAVE STRONG computer / systems skills MS Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook).
