PACU RN Travel Assignment Details Location : Winchester, VA 22601 (Virginia nursing jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : December 8, 2025 End Date : March 9, 2026 Shift : 11 : 00 AM – 9 : 30 PM (4x10 hour days, mid-shift) Weekly Hours : 40 Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1860 - $2000 Unit : 25-bed Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Patient Ratio : 3 : 1 EMR : Epic (required) Weekend Requirements : None On-Call Requirements : None PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or Compact State Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Pre-Op Surgery and PACU nursing Proficiency with Epic EMR system required Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (AHA only) Preferred : Perioperative nursing experience Ability to provide clinical support for patients from infants to adults in a fast-paced healthcare environment PACU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in a 25-bed PACU Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond to post-anesthesia emergencies Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Accurately document all patient care using Epic EMR Support pre-op and post-op patient needs, including patient education and discharge planning Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical best practices Take your nursing career to the next level with this travel PACU RN job in Winchester, Virginia.
