Housekeeper / Cook Position

A lovely family based in Irving, TX is looking for a full-time housekeeper / cook. The position can be live-in, or live-out. The general schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week guaranteed. The family has a young toddler so the candidate must be comfortable around children.

Housekeeping

Standard housekeeping duties, responsibility for the cleanliness and upkeep of the home, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas.

Perform daily housekeeping tasks : dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and removing trash.

Conduct deep cleaning : scrubbing showers / toilets, cleaning window ledges, removing cobwebs, and maintaining overall hygiene standards.

Organize and maintain closets, pantries, and storage spaces; perform seasonal clean-ups.

Laundry, ironing, and garment care.

Cooking

Prepare healthy, simple meals.

Maintain fridge cleanliness and food freshness.

Wash dishes, order groceries, unpack and organize kitchen items, simple food prep with fresh produce.

Requirements

Detail oriented

Strong communication skills

Prior full-time private household experience

Reliable, flexible

Valid driver's license

Comfortable around young children

Strong cooking skills

Team player

Legal to work in the US

Salary and Benefits

$30-$35 / hr, depending on experience

2 weeks vacation, 5 sick days, holidays
