100% FTE, Monday - Friday with varied start times between 6 : 00am - 9 : 30am. No weekends or holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to :

• Provide care to a variety of pediatric patients in an outpatient setting requiring day treatment therapies.
• Administer infusions to pediatric patients for a wide variety of conditions including, cancer, hematologic conditions, Crohn's disease, juvenile arthritis, genetic disorders, transplant and research.
• Provide post-anesthesia care including phase I and phase II recovery following radiologic interventions / treatments.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team including, proceduralists, specialty providers, APPs child life, scheduling, and radiology
• Set priorities adapting to changing patient and unit / clinic situations.
• Work in two of three care areas : day treatment therapies (e.g. infusions, transfusions), sedation for procedures as well as pre-post anesthesia care.
