Account Reconciliation Specialist Job Details :

• Schedule : M-F 8am-5pm
• Hybrid after training 4 days in office, 1 day WFH
• Pay Rate : $24-28.50 / hr

Account Reconciliation Specialist Job Description :

Conduct thorough research and reconciliation of corporate accounts, meticulously gathering data and acquiring necessary supporting documentation from diverse systems and sources.

Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams and clients to promptly identify and address any out-of-balance conditions, ensuring timely resolution of reconciling items.

Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancement to mitigate or eliminate out-of-balance conditions and reconciling items, contributing to the overall efficiency of corporate accounting procedures.

Contribute actively to the ongoing cleanup and maintenance of existing corporate accounts, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial records.

Cultivate and maintain relationships to facilitate the timely collection of accounts receivable, adeptly navigating internal and external channels to address any barriers to payment.

Handle customer disputes with tact and professionalism, guiding them to resolution while meticulously documenting root causes for future reference.

Address payment discrepancies promptly and effectively, while also providing timely responses to invoice inquiries, proof of delivery requests, and statements.

Review purchase orders, contracts, and other agreements to ensure accurate invoice processing and account setup, maintaining compliance with established protocols.

Provide valuable insights and recommendations on escalations and the collectability of accounts, advising on potential write-offs or legal actions when necessary.

Actively engage and communicate within team-based work groups, fostering a collaborative environment conducive to achieving shared objectives.

Account Reconciliation Specialist Job Requirements :

• Experience with accounting software
• Basic accounting skills and experience with reconciling financial statements
• 3-5 years of experience
• Microsoft Office, Excel (including vLookups & pivot tables)
