The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is excited to welcome a dedicated Clerical Supervisor 2 to oversee the work of clerical staff engaged in processing a variety of documents within our Armstrong County organization. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Clerical Supervisor 2, you will serve as a human resource (HR) liaison with the district which entails all HR functions relating to vacancies and hiring within the county maintenance office for permanent and seasonal positions. This professional is responsible for supervising county clerical positions responsible for timekeeping functions, various garage functions, and dispatch duties. Within this role, you will recommend innovative work-flow procedures, ensure staff are apprised of new or changing polices, develop and recommend time-saving procedures, and obtain information for a wide-range of reports. In addition, you will be responsible for completing Employee Performance Coordinator duties by preparing annual, interim, and probationary employee performance reviews and ensuring all performance evaluations are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
