Job Description – Full Time Outpatient Site Director
Location : Clarion, PA
Basic Function :
- Supervise and direct the delivery of clinical treatment in the Outpatient Mental Health Services in the Clarion location.
- Provide ongoing supervision for outpatient mental health assessment and counseling services to adults and children.
- Develop and implement necessary training for Outpatient Mental Health staff providing direct service to clients in coordination with the Compliance Officer.
- Manage relationships with insurance companies and various government entities.
- Assist with the coordination of care for clients by accessing other resources within Family Psychological Associates and the community as needed.
- Coordinate services with independently contracted psychiatrists and psychologists.
- Provide direct and indirect mental health and social services (individual, family, group therapy, diagnostic assessment, community support program, consultation, etc.) to clients and their families when indicated.
- Provide clinical guidance to other programs within the FPA family of programs as necessary.
Responsibilities :
Ensure that the activities of this position and relevant programs are consistent with the mission, vision and values of Family Psychological Associates.Provide administrative and clinical supervision and / or consultation to direct care staff as needed.Design and implement a training program in response to identified training needs of clinical staff in coordination with the Compliance Officer.Manage adherence to standards of State certification, national accreditation, contracts with Medicaid, insurance and managed care providers to maximize utilization and revenues.Ensure adherence to budgeted revenue and expenses; monitor staff compliance with productivity expectations.Develop and implement strategies in response to outcome results to promote continual improvement of outpatient treatment services.Collaborate effectively with outpatient mental health staff to appropriately process referrals in a flexible and responsive manner.Serve as liaison to other agencies / institutions in cooperative treatment / educational ventures.Determine appropriateness of admission, discharge, and transfer of clients from clinical programs and services, in conjunction, when appropriate, with medical / psychiatric staff.Participate in periodic agency meetings
Qualifications : (at a minimum)
A master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field.Active Pennsylvania license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist.Minimum of five years of mental health clinical experience, with at least two years in a leadership or supervisory role.Requirements :
Strong knowledge of Pennsylvania mental health regulations and evidence-based clinical practices.Proof of education – copy of degree and college transcriptsActive Pennsylvania clinical licenseAct 33 / 34 clearances – newer than twelve monthsFBI clearanceValid Pennsylvania driver's licenseReliable transportation
