Faculty - Director of Nursing MSN-FNP

Role : The Director of Nursing MSN-FNP assists in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the MSN-FNP program. The position also offers opportunity to teach. The Assistant Director works closely with the Assistant Dean / Director of Nursing and is responsible for providing leadership and fostering both internal and external collaborative relationships with faculty, administration, and stakeholders in the community. The Director is available to assume leadership for the Nursing Department in the absence of the Director of Nursing.

Duties may include any or all of the following, depending on the specific assignment. Specific duties will be identified by the Supervisor for each work assignment.

• Provides leadership in the ongoing development of the Nursing MSN-FNP within the Concordia University of Irvine Department of Nursing :

Develops and writes graduate curricula as appropriate for new program development.

Supervisory Responsibilities : This position directly supervises employees and carries out supervisor responsibilities in accordance with the university's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications :

Full Time Faculty, Exempt

$115,000-$125,000 / yr
