Description
We're looking to add a Field Service Manager to our Omaha Branch. The Field Service Manager is responsible for overseeing and supporting a team of refrigeration service technicians while providing advanced technical expertise in supermarket refrigeration systems. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with mentoring, training, and operational oversight to ensure high-quality service delivery, system reliability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of service technicians delivering both remote and on-site technical support
- Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating strong communication, organization, professionalism, and time-management skills
- Provide expert-level technical support for supermarket refrigeration systems
- Lead and support supermarket control system installations, upgrades, diagnostics, and troubleshooting, including platforms such as Emerson, Novar, Danfoss, Micro Thermo, Case Controls, and similar systems
- Perform and support CO₂ refrigeration system service, diagnostics, startups, and repairs
- Act as a startup technician for new system installations, remodels, and major system upgrades
- Train, develop, and onboard new service technicians, ensuring technical competency and adherence to safety and quality standards
- Respond to emergency service calls and system breakdowns as required to support customers and field teams
- Stay current with emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and industry advancements, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
