We are looking for a small business Controller to manage and oversee the accounting and financial operations across multiple subsidiaries in the metro-Columbia, SC area. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the general ledger, financial reporting, and cash management ensuring the smooth operation of all accounting-related activities.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the day-to-day accounting activities to include payroll, accounts payable and receivable for the holding company and related entities
• Process the month end close and prepare monthly financial statements
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts
• Manage cash flow across all company accounts.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel is required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
