Summary
Take2 is hiring an Emergency Management Coordinator / Incident Management Team Coordinator to support our client in onsite in Alexandria, VA. This role requires a detail-oriented professional to lead operational coordination during crisis events, maintain accountability of deployed personnel and equipment, and support policy development and reporting. The IMT Coordinator ensures timely information sharing and accurate documentation to strengthen incident response capabilities.
Essential Functions
- Liaising between Incident Management Team (IMT) and various regional teams.
- Serving as the primary operational focal point for organizing and directing operational responses to a specific crisis.
- Accomplishing the three universal IMT priorities of life safety, incident stabilization, and preservation of property.
- Monitoring and managing the personnel accountability of deployed Officers to include the recording of specific data on arrivals and departures from home station to deployment locations.
- Establishing personnel reporting plans, policies, and timelines reflecting detailed reporting procedures and responsibilities in coordination with the deployment.
- Maintaining database of certifications held by the teams.
- Providing technical writing and editing of policies, processes, and other ad hoc documentation as needed.
- Supporting policy developments, updates, and implementations to include enhancement of information sharing and information accesses.
- Designing, constructing, and populating internal repositories pertaining to equipment assigned to IMT (laptops, monitors, cables, projectors, etc.). Repositories are used to track quality, quantity, delivery times, cost, etc.
- Ensuring rosters are up to date for personnel and equipment.
- Developing training materials and user guides to provide on-site support to mission partners and platform users.
- Scheduling and facilitating meetings to include capturing minutes and action items.
- Preparing status reports and other reports as needed.
- Identifying gaps in mission-critical information sharing and information access requirements and proposing corrective technical solutions.
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support.
Required Education & Training
Bachelor's degreeMinimum Experience & Skills Required
