Seeking underwriter with record of a profitable book of business and evaluating risks to meet targeted loss ratio expectations to produce commercial surety and fidelity bonds.

Responsibilities will include :

• Review applications and financial requirements.
• Determine acceptability of risk.
• Analyze and implement pricing components and rating methodology.
• Use predictive modeling tools.
• Build broker, agent, and customer relationships.
• Manage renewal process.
• Report adverse underwriting decisions, rate appeals, underwriting requirements, status, and declinations.
