Job description

Overview :

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is seeking a full-time Help Desk Support Technician with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to work at our Headquarters in White Plains, NY. The salary for this position is $48,000 - $50,000 / year.

Responsibilities :

As a valued member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

Serving as the primary help desk contact and successfully respond to and close tickets in a timely fashion.

Installation, operation, maintenance and support of Information Systems and voice and data communication.

Troubleshooting and resolving equipment and communications malfunctions; performing routine operations including periodic report generation and system backup

Assisting in problem resolution of infrastructure issues with the Network Administrator and / or the IS department.

Requirements :

We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications :

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent Associate degree and have relevant computer training or A+ certification and at least 1 year of computer hardware and software maintenance / support experience.

Experience working with computer hardware, printers and basic network equipment.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.

Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel at all sites in Westchester County.

Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent user support to all staff.

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, is required.
