A company is looking for a Senior Employee Relations Specialist to support their Arizona Government customer in Phoenix, AZ.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a subject matter expert on employee relations and HR policy
Conduct thorough and confidential workplace investigations related to performance and compliance issues
Provide coaching and consultation to managers on performance management and employee engagement strategies
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience focused on employee relations and investigations
Expert knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, HIPAA)
Proficiency in Google Suite and HRIS systems
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Professional HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP / SCP is preferred
