KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Reporting to our Director ofWalmartfor theWellbeing Collective (WBCCollective), this role will serve as a key member of our team and will be an important “face of theWBCCollective” toour most strategic customers. Cross-functional leadership withinWBCdemonstratingteamwork,partnershipand a holistic business approach is critical for success. OurSr.Sales Manager –Walmartwill work closely with our broker networkforsupport ofthe business and to ensure a successful transitionto the direct model.This role will manage theSmarty Pants,WellyandOnnitbrands for the Walmart business.They will work across 4 categories andbuild solid relationships withapproximately 10 buyers at Walmart.Strategic and thought leadershipis required toscale our business to new heights.

  • Lead sales efforts atWalmartas well as any other customers / brands asidentifiedby Sales leadership
  • Leadership ofone direct report,an AssociateCustomer Business Manager.
  • Ownassigned tradespendto profitably grow the business
  • Build and manage relationships with multiplemerchantsacross categoriesensuringjointgoals are met
  • Collaborate withWalmartto ensure true partnershipand accountability
  • Strategically plan and execute annual business plans
  • Be the “execution arm” ofWBCCollective and bring our plans to life at retail
  • Plan and execute profitable, “on-strategy”display programs
  • Ensure pricing / financial guidelines are followed in the marketplace
  • Articulate theWBC’s unique positioning to deliver overall growth
  • Be an ambassador of our team values (Be Yourself, Be Disruptive, Be Passionate, Be Supportive) and contribute to the culture to make it better for all of us!

KEY EXPERIENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-10years of experience inConsumer Goodswith2+years directly calling on Walmart
  • Deep knowledge and experience owning aP&L andtrade spend budget
  • Excellent communicator with a high degree of comfort in giving and receiving constructive feedback
  • An inclusive leader withstrong communicationskills, a passion for teamdevelopment and experience leading cross-functional teams (managing people or brokers considered a plus)
  • Personallyand professionally motivated to deliver results and get things done
  • Sharp organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking ability
  • Solid negotiation skillsin ”gettingto yes” with retail partners
  • Energized and passionate about building transformational brands in today’s marketplace
  • Ability to change information into insights for actionable growth
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and innovative sensibility
  • A true “Team Player” who can work cross-functionally to achieve results
  • LOCATION : Northwest Arkansas, Remote

    HOURS : Full time, exempt (salaried)
