Retention Bonus Opportunity GCS offers a
$4,000 annual retention stipend for licensed educators hired into designated
Career and Technical Education (CTE) Hard-to-Fill positions in the following areas:
- Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Computer/Network Engineering)
- Healthcare (Nursing Fundamentals)
- Aviation (Aerospace Technology)
Eligibility Requirements:
- Candidates must meet all NCDPI licensure and certification requirements for instruction in these areas.
- Teachers must serve in the Hard-to-Fill position and then return to the same position the following school year to qualify.
Payment Details:
- The stipend is awarded as a lump sum payment of $4,000, paid each September of the school year.
