Staff Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer - Grafana Databases, Loki Ingest.

Key Responsibilities

Influence the roadmap and career objectives while delivering new features and iterating based on results

Drive projects from ideation to operations, ensuring reliability, performance, and availability of critical systems

Mentor team members and participate in design discussions while contributing to the open-source culture

Required Qualifications

Solid experience with at least one programming language (preferably Go, but others like Python, C, C++, or Rust are acceptable)

Experience delivering projects from requirements gathering to product shipping in a self-driven manner

Experience developing software for the Cloud or in systems engineering

Experience running complex distributed systems at scale

Experience writing clean, robust, and maintainable software
