Overview of Position : The Lift Maintenance team at Windham Mountain Club is responsible for the maintenance, safe operation, and inspection of the lift system as well as the safety of passengers, both guests and team members.
Job Qualifications :
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to stand, stoop, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly for an entire work shift.
- Must have mechanical and / or electrical aptitude, skills and experience.
- Must be comfortable working from heights.
Level 1 Lift Maintenance Job Requirements :
Able to rebuild grips under supervisionAble to perform basic line workAble to assist in sheave train rebuildsAble to perform basic start up and maintenance checksBasic understanding of lift electrical systemsBasic understanding of lift brake systemsAssists in all other lift maintenance tasks under supervisionAble to safely operate lull, hydraulic presses, and other specialized equipment as neededBeginning familiarization with ANSI standardBasic understanding of hydraulic tensioning systemsAssists in rigging setup and usageDeveloping understanding of schematicsLevel 2 Lift Maintenance Mechanic Job Requirements :
Able to independently perform all Level 1 tasksAble to research technical manuals to clarify and expand maintenance and repair knowledgeAble to lead a Level 1 maintenance team in all required tasksHas a solid understanding of ANSI requirementsHas a solid understanding of manufacturer’s maintenance requirementsAble to train trainees on entry level maintenance tasksAble to supply required documentation and records of work performedHas advanced knowledge of hydraulic, structural, and mechanical systemsHas a solid knowledge of rigging practicesHas a solid level of electrical controls systems knowledgeCan read system schematicsInterfaces with manager on lift status and needsLevel 2 Lift Maintenance Electrician Job Requirements :
Must have electrician or electrical controls experienceMust be able to read lift schematicsMust be able to perform all electrical maintenance tasksMust be able to troubleshoot and repair system electrical failuresResponsible for training level 2 mechanics on electrical systemsMust be able to maintain documentation and records of maintenance and repairsResponsible for all controls, motors, 480 VAC, 220 VAC, 120 VAC, 24v, Dc, 12v Dc systemsOversees battery management programInterfaces with manager on lift status and needsWork Schedule and Conditions : We are in the business of providing premier guest experiences. Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holidays which you will be expected to work. You can also expect to be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holiday periods or in the event of a breakdown on one of the lifts.
