Job Title : Patient Financial Representative Senior

Location : Onsite - Irving, TX (5101 O'Connor Blvd, Irving, TX 75039)

Employment Type : Contract

Schedule : Monday-Friday | 9 AM - 5 PM CST

Hours per Week : 40

Expected Start Date : November 23, 2025

Expected End Date : February 22, 2026

Duration : Approximately 91 days

Marketplace Pay Rate : $20.05 / hr

Position Summary

The Patient Financial Representative Senior performs key revenue cycle functions to support efficient and accurate financial operations. The role focuses on resolving patient account balances, reconciling outstanding accounts, and ensuring timely processing of billing-related tasks. The individual in this position must maintain high standards of professionalism, ethical conduct, and customer service while working in a fast-paced, multi-facility healthcare business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform revenue cycle tasks in alignment with departmental quality and productivity standards.
  • Collect, review, and provide patient and payer information to support account resolution.
  • Respond to account inquiries through verbal and written communication.
  • Support timely and accurate processing of inpatient and outpatient billing using UB-04 and HCFA 1500 formats.
  • Ensure tasks are completed in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment to support internal and external customer needs.
  • Uphold organizational values such as integrity, compassion, and excellence.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in a hospital business office or multi-facility medical environment.
  • Experience with insurance claims processing and / or hospital billing operations.
  • Strong understanding of inpatient and outpatient billing requirements, including UB-04 and HCFA 1500.
  • Knowledge of account reconciliation, collections processes, and healthcare financial operations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards and quality service.
