This position supports the Lehigh County Office of Intellectual Disability in administrative duties.Responsibilities :Overseeing and monitoring the internal Quality Management Plan;Performing monthly monitoring visits and meetings to assure that contracted providers and Program staff are in compliance;Collecting, studying and analyzing data to track trends to prepare recommendations on changes in policies and procedures as needed;Monitoring the State Plans regarding services for individuals with intellectual disabilities;Conducting assessments for individuals qualifying for waiver services;Ensuring waiver files meet ODP compliance standards, including annual health screenings are completed for each waiver recipient;Completing annual re-certifications for waiver recipients;Reviewing psychological and adaptive functioning assessments for individuals :Act as the point person for intellectual and intellectual disability eligibility determinations for Lehigh County;Schedule and complete individual and family eligibility meetings in both home and community settings within a regulated timeline; gather and copy required documents to determine eligibility;Communicate eligibility determinations with individuals and families; andOther duties as assigned.Essential Skills and Experience :Commitment : to Lehigh County's mission and values;Leadership : demonstrated ability to work with numerous professionals;Planning : ability to think ahead;Management : ability to organize and manage multiple priorities; andCommunication : excellent interpersonal and communication skills - written and verbal.Preferred skills and experience :Bachelor's degree in related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the intellectual disability service arena;Knowledge of community intellectual disability and other social services; andKnowledge of report writing_Equal Opportunity Employer_
