LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Pathology MD in North Carolina!

About The Position

We are actively seeking a Dermatopathologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This position, starting on Oct 6, 2025, entails day shifts, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will deliver precise diagnoses using both traditional and digital methods, ensuring high standards of pathology services.

  • Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver accurate diagnoses of specimens via glass slide and digital formats
  • Provide microscopic dictations and gross evaluations when necessary
  • Be readily available for consultations with physicians and staff regarding specimen handling, diagnoses, and management
  • Maintain effective communication with all levels of management, co-workers, and clients

  • Pathology fellowship training in Dermatopathology required
  • AP / CP Board Certification required
