Business Intelligence Engineer

Valve+Meter is searching for a Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Analytics & Insights team tasked with using data to drive action and growth for our clients and organization. Analytics and insights are only as strong as the underlying data that powers them, so we are looking for an expert in modeling, engineering, analyzing, and communicating data effectively.

The Business Intelligence Developer will lead in designing, optimizing, and owning Valve+Meter's data pipelines, tables, and warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Model, extract, and ingest data from various systems and methods, including flat files, APIs, and databases.
• Create effective and efficient data pipelines and ETL flows that allow analytics to drive actionable insights.
• Take business requirements and vision and transform them into effective data solutions.
• Develop dashboards to communicate insights and drive action by using data to tell a story rather than simply showing charts.
• Design and development of automated solutions for recurring reporting and in-depth analysis.

Experience

Required :

Demonstrated experience using data to create and deliver insights

Creating practical tables and views
