Sourcing & Innovation Manager

We're scaling fast across e-commerce and retail, and we're looking for a Product Innovation & Innovation Manager, a visionary builder who thrives at the intersection of product development, sourcing, and operational strategy.

In this pivotal, high-impact role, you'll shape how products come to life, from creative concept and material sourcing to inventory forecasting and final delivery. You'll own the end-to-end process of bringing innovation to market : evaluating new product opportunities, analyzing performance and demand, developing supplier partnerships, and optimizing cost, quality, and margin at every step.

You'll forecast needs across our fast-growing product lines, ensuring our supply chain scales seamlessly with our ambitions. From first sketch to store shelf, you'll connect design, data, and development into one intelligent system that drives growth, efficiency, and innovation.

Your work will directly influence how millions of customers experience our products. What You'll Be Doing

Act as our in-house sourcing guru, ensuring makesy delivers the best quality product, on-time, for the best cost.

Identify new suppliers, materials, and packaging solutions that elevate innovation and sustainability.

Manage COGS, continuously evaluate product margins and landed costs, and ensure that targets are met or exceeded.

Execute product development requests including supplies, finished goods, and kits across multiple categories and sales channels.

Build, manage, and strengthen supplier relationships across domestic and international vendors.

Negotiate pricing, lead times, and MOQs to drive cost savings, quality, and speed.

Develop sourcing strategies that balance creativity, scalability, and margin improvement.

Lead cost-reduction initiatives and value-engineering projects while maintaining Makesy's design standards.

Oversee supplier performance, compliance, and onboarding documentation.

Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, creative, and fulfillment to ensure that new products are brought to market successfully.

Stay on top of market trends and proactively identify new product opportunities for both e-commerce and retail channels.

What You've Done :

5+ years in sourcing, product development, or supply chain management, ideally in consumer goods, home fragrance, or beauty.

Deep experience managing both international and domestic suppliers.

A skilled negotiator with strong financial acumen and an eye for margin improvement.

Process-driven and highly organized, you bring structure and follow-through to fast-moving projects.

Creative thinker with a practical mindset, you know how to turn big ideas into cost-effective realities.

Comfortable working directly with leadership in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Collaborative, positive, and motivated by seeing products come to life.

ERP or sourcing system experience required (NetSuite preferred).
