Description :

We are a high-risk Labor and Delivery facility with 16 labor rooms, 6 triage rooms, 6 antepartum rooms, and 3 operating rooms.

We have a Level 3 NICU and see all obstetrical patients over 20 weeks.

This is a teaching facility with resident coverage.

Common patient cases include Preeclampsia, Gestational Diabetes Mellitus, Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes, multiples, fetal anomalies, and cardiac defects in mothers or babies.

An OR team handles scheduled C-sections and most add-on cases during the day.

We have 24 / 7 in-house anesthesia services.

External cephalic versions are performed during the day.

The average daily census is 15.

Patient ratio is 1 : 2.

Every other weekend work is required.

Automated medication management is utilized.

Documentation is completed using EPIC and OBTV.

Communication follows the SBAR format.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Scrubs are provided.

The flu vaccine is required during flu season.

The COVID-19 vaccine is required with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons.

This facility complies with smoke and nicotine-free policies.

No call is required for this position.

Expect to work some holidays.

RTO is kept to a minimum and requires approval at management's discretion.

Modules and training will be provided as necessary.

Floating may be required per client policies.
