Job Summary:
Responsible for the operation of daily performance of the Radiology Department. .Individual proceeds on his/her own initiative, in compliance with policies, procedures and practices prescribed by immediate supervisor.
Job Functions:
- Oversees JCAHO, TDH, regulatory, and unit compliance, maintaining a smooth functioning healthcare team and also serves as senior Radiologist Technologist advisor.
- Coordinates and provides direct patient care in a timely effective manner in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
- Reviews each examination for technical accuracy, presents completed examination to radiologist, and communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient following the procedure.
- Appropriately coordinates and supervises healthcare team for timely, compassionate, effective and efficient healthcare delivery.
- Identifies anatomical orientation on all required images, and ensures proper film identification on all images.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
- Education : Graduate of a recognized, approved American Medical Association Council of Education program in radiologic technology; associate's degree preferred.
- Licensure : Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; Certification by A.R.R.T on Computer Tomography or registry eligible.
- BLS Required
- Skills : Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Ability to recognize subtle differences between healthy and pathological areas. Must possess a positive and courteous attitude, and take the initative to go beyond what is expected in a teamwork environment.
