Role Overview :
The Statewide Systems Asset Director for the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) reports directly to the Managing Director of Asset Management and Planning and is responsible for critical engineering decisions related to project prioritization of bridge, road, safety, and mobility projects. This position also manages the Drainage Asset Engineer and, therefore, is responsible for hydrology and hydraulic engineering of the State of Indiana's highways and real estate. This position also manages the Institutional Road Program and, therefore, is responsible for the scoping and program management of the roads and parking facilities of State Agencies. Additionally, this position leads peer groups for the District System Asset Managers, overseeing the work of the scoping engineers, bridge asset engineers, pavement asset engineers, and small culvert engineers.

This position is located in INDOT's Central Office, Asset Management Division.
Salary :
This position traditionally starts at an annual salary of $93,002.00. Salary for this position may be commensurate with education and job experience.

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours which may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work. Exempt employees may work more than 75 hours in a pay period without additional compensation and must report a minimum of 75 hours per pay period of work hours and / or paid leave taken to receive their base biweekly salary.
