Responsibilities

Intermountain Hospital is looking for a dynamic Admissions RN to assess potential patients for admission! The Admissions Department screens and assesses patients in settings ranging from : triaging patients from hospitals, performing scheduled assessments, and crisis management of walk-in patients with acute mental health and / or substance use disorder. Admissions works closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, clinicians, and nursing staff to access the appropriate level of care required to stabilize the patient's emotional health. Shift : Full-time day / evening shift 7 : 00 a.m. to 7 : 00 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday rotating

Qualifications

Education : Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Idaho. Must be trained in Crisis Prevention Instruction (we provide) and CPR.

Licensure : Currently licensed to practice by the State of Idaho. Preferred experience in psychiatric setting.

Shift : Day / Evening
