As Rockwell's Senior Field Service Technician, you provide services to support the on-site installation, start-up, maintenance, and operation of automation control systems & advanced manufacturing software applications, drive systems, power systems, manufacturing systems, industrial networks and the individual products which comprise these systems. If you are not at a customer's site, you can work from your home office or regional sales office. Regional travel is required, up to 50%. You report to the Territory Services Manager and located in Southern California.
Your Responsibilities :
- Provide customer support through the performance of installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of Rockwell equipment and systems.
- Maintain and / or program PLCs and HMIs systems for new or modified equipment utilizing RSLogix 5, 500, 5000, FactoryTalk Studio software, Studio5000, ControlLogix and CompactLogix. Program and commission AC and DC drive systems (Low and Medium Voltages, MCC lineups, and all AB Power and Control products on various applications.
- Maintain automation and equipment including working with Medium Voltage or voltages up to 11 kV.
- Troubleshoot problems, identify, and implement new or amended system functionality, identify operational process gaps, and take corrective actions.
- Execute initiatives supporting our automation strategy, manage operating workflows and progress continuous improvement opportunities.
- Develop and write documentation as required (validation project plans, standard operating procedures, qualification summary reports, system audits, technical reports, traceability matrix, etc.).

The ability to travel up to 50% of the time.A valid drivers license.6+ years of related experience in Low or Medium Voltage Drives, HMIs, Small and Large controllers.Experience working with sales and business leads to identify new contract opportunities and ensuring customer satisfaction of service offerings.Experience with networks including EtherNet, ControlNet, and DeviceNet.What We Offer :

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $82,000 - $123,000 with an annual target bonus of 4% of base salary. Our benefits for the US can be found here. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
