Piper Companies is currently searching for a Manager of Cybersecurity Operations to work Onsite in Washington, DC for apolitical organization that works closely with the U.
S. government. The Manager of Cybersecurity Operations will oversee cybersecurity and privacy risk projects, managing and contributing to multiple initiatives.
Responsibilities of the Manager of Cybersecurity Operations include :
- Managing the adoption and compliance with cybersecurity processes, procedures, and policies
- Assessing the organization’s security posture, reporting findings, making recommendations, implementing agreed recommendations, and monitoring processes
- Coordinating and managing ongoing third-party risk assessments, including completing the Inherent Risk Questionnaire, Vendor Risk Questionnaire, and fulfilling due diligence requests
- Collaborating with internal business partners to evaluate risks related to third-party service providers as part of the overall third-party risk management program
- Identifying, assessing, and monitoring data protection risks, and recommending mitigation strategies
- Collaborating with the team to identify and respond to cyber threats within client networks
Qualifications for the Manager of Cybersecurity Operations include :
- 5-7 years of cybersecurity experience, with at least 5 years managing third-party risk
- Experience in Cybersecurity Incident Response management
- Preferred certifications : CISSP, CISM, CTPRP
- Experience with cybersecurity standards and frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO , PCI, etc
- Undergraduate or Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity Management or a related field
