Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Designer to join our Donna Karan / BCBG team. This role will support the creation and design of a competitive product line that strikes a balance between relevant commercial product and brand-right emotional fashion, ultimately contributing to the brand’s strategic and financial objectives. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and eager to learn, with strong design and communication skills and a passion for fashion.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in sketching seasonal collections.
• Complete all aspects of design packages including sketching, tech packs, and line sheets.
• Prepare and maintain tech packs from initial development through production.
• Organize and maintain design development including artwork, trims, fabric worksheets, and line lists.
• Manage and update line sheets regularly.
• Track samples and shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist in showroom sample preparation.
• Communicate effectively with overseas factories.
• Manage seasonal yarn orders.
• Support upkeep of design boards and office organization.
• Adhere to and manage timelines according to the Time and Action Calendar.

What We Offer :

The pay range for this position is : $28.00 - $29.00 per hour.
