Director of Merchandising
Location : New York City
Aflalo is a modern luxury fashion brand rooted in elegance, opulence, and bold femininity. We are seeking a Director of Merchandising to lead product strategy and drive the commercial success of our collections. This is a key leadership role that blends data-driven insight with impeccable taste.
Responsibilities :
- Own seasonal and core line planning across all categories
- Analyze sell-through performance and drive reorders of high-performing styles
- Partner closely with design to shape product assortments that are both elevated and commercially viable
- Set pricing, SKU count, and category depth targets by season
- Guide the product calendar and ensure timely handoffs across design, development, and production
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and e-commerce to ensure alignment
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform product opportunities
- Champion the brand’s aesthetic and help curate a distinctive point of view in the assortment
