Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist | Part Time | Northern California | Hybrid
Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, or Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist with Child Psychiatry experience, to provide psychiatric care to youth in residential treatment programs located in Northern California. This role offers a flexible schedule, meaningful clinical impact, and the opportunity to work in a growing, supportive environment.
Program Details :
- 12 adolescent beds, 12 young adult beds
- All patients are Child & Adolescent in residential treatment settings
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct psychiatric evaluations for new admissions (required within 24 hours of admission)Provide ongoing medication management and psychiatric follow-ups (flexible schedulingcan be completed within 12 days of your choosing each week)Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive care planningMaintain documentation in accordance with regulatory and clinical standardsFlexible weekday schedule for follow-upsPreferred : Availability for 12 weekends per month to manage new admissions onlyOnsite presence in California with flexibility for telehealth for intakesQualifications :
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent PsychiatryBoard Certified or Board Eligible General Adult Psychiatrist with Child Psychiatry experienceActive medical licensure in CaliforniaExperience in residential or inpatient settings strongly preferredStrong clinical, organizational, and communication skillsWhy Join Us?
