Adjunct Professor of Mathematics

George Fox University announces a part-time, adjunct faculty position in mathematics, to begin in the fall and / or spring semester, as needed. The School of Natural Sciences is seeking an instructor who is enthusiastic about educating the next generation of students in our growing programs.

Responsibilities include :

• Primary teaching responsibilities involve face to face lecture sections of Discrete Mathematics on the Newberg campus, three days a week. Other courses may also be available.
• Course Description : Discrete Mathematics (3 hours) An introduction to discrete mathematics. Topics covered include sets, functions, math induction, combinatorics, recurrence, graph theory, trees, and networks. Three lectures per week.
