Overview
The Optimization Strategist will work in a pod structure with Account Managers to support our largest clients, providing strategic insights and recommendations for PPC and SEO campaigns. While Account Managers are responsible for client facing communication, the Optimization Strategist is the principal responsible for day-to-day campaign management, optimization, and reporting. The Opti will review campaigns regularly, make changes, assess digital campaign trends, and partner with sales and client success to provide performance metrics that support client retention.
Responsibilities
Prioritize and load balance across several platforms and clients within specific service level agreements (SLAs) and expectations.
Serve as a client's Optimization Strategist.
Complete digital ad campaign reviews with detailed recommendations on optimization enhancements to improve performance metrics.
Optimize PPC campaigns to increase campaign success.
Update and / or create pacing reports for campaigns.
Create campaigns within our platform.
Provide weekly / monthly / ad hoc reporting.
Provide miscellaneous research as needed.
Create ads and A / B tests for PPC.
Review keywords and provide feedback on potential keyword strategies.
Provide reviews of SEO tasks and complete SEO reporting.
Join client meetings as needed and present findings and analysis.
Build rapport with internal team members through routine meetings.
Develop and advise on marketing strategies, assess feasibility based on client expectations, and identify marketing and advertising opportunities.
Execute budgets and strategies to meet client goals / needs.
Monitor, evaluate, and leverage standard processes to manage and improve SEM / SEO campaign performance across LOCALiQ's publisher networks.
Troubleshoot performance issues using digital advertising best practices and create innovative solutions to meet client needs.
Drive campaign ROI and leverage client relationships to assist the sales team in growing accounts.
Incorporate evolving technologies and processes into the client solution delivery process.
Key Qualifications
3 - 5 years of experience in the digital space, in an agency environment, or in-house equivalent.
2+ years of campaign management experience.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate digital marketing concepts.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related fields.
Advanced knowledge of SEM, SEO, social, email marketing, and understanding of new media consumer behaviors and trends.
Ability to load balance, prioritize and manage heavy workloads with flexibility to rapidly shift priorities based on organizational needs.
Creative thinker with strong time management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $40,000 and $60,000. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and may be applicable based on role. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
