Registered Nurse - Pediatric StepDown

Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) for the Pediatric Step-Down Unit provides compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric patients who require close monitoring and intermediate-level care. The RN works collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in a supportive, family-centered environment.\n\nResponsibilities : \nProvide direct nursing care to pediatric patients requiring continuous assessment and monitoring.^Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.^Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for each patient.^Monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient condition, and respond promptly to emergencies.^Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate care and ensure optimal patient outcomes.^Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.^Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).^Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.
