This position focuses on backend engineering and site reliability, ensuring robust, secure, and efficient services. The role involves designing distributed microservices, improving reliability, performance, and observability, and guiding the implementation of best practices across multiple codebases. Accountabilities

• Lead backend and site reliability engineering initiatives for high-traffic, distributed systems.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable microservices to meet performance, reliability, and security goals.
• Improve visibility into business-critical transactions, guide SLO creation, and manage error budgets.
• Contribute to multiple codebases to enhance performance, compliance, and revenue-impacting services.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver cloud-based solutions that support millions of users.
• Mentor and share knowledge with engineering teams, participate in code reviews, and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Maintain and improve system observability, automation, and operational processes.
