Sales Account Manager
Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Sales Account Manager working out of a home office in Washington to join our outside sales team. The key responsibilities include maintaining a 12-month forecast on significant programs and products for all business units, filling out demand creation PowerPoint forms quarterly, traveling with factory personnel into accounts as needed to support design, manufacturing, quality, and new opportunities, traveling to Amphenol factories when appropriate to engage the team on new designs and critical deliveries, selling the factories on why the program is vital to our success, working with the inside team to view the Electronic Purchasing and Report Card system your customer may be using, working on a monthly basis with the quality teams and inside sales teams at the customer and Amphenol business unit on maintaining an acceptable level of performance on quality, delivery, and affordability, creating and maintaining a program breakout with complete bill of material by Amphenol product / business unit & quantity per system and sales dollars potential. Salary : $80,000 - $150,000.
The key skills and qualities of a Sales Account Manager at Amphenol Aerospace Operations include a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field and 5 years' experience in engineering, sales support, sales or marketing in the aerospace industry. Equivalent education / experience will be considered. Experience working with aerospace and defense customers is preferred. Interconnect knowledge and / or experience is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills and adept at both oral and written communications. Proficiency working with Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Confidentiality. Ability to travel approximately 60-70% of the time. Employee must reside in Washington.
