Senior Cost Accountant
Cost Accountant needed for large scale company located near Corona, CA. Will pay 85-95k plus bonus DOE. This is a hybrid role. Benefits to include M / D / V, 401k, Paid holidays, sick and vacation days.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to :
- Analyze Material, Labor, Manufacturing Overhead and Outside Processing Variances in a standard costing system, including root cause analysis.
- Responsible for the manufacturing BOM changes, standard rates, cost rollups, GL accounts and product costing for all new and existing products.
- Monitor inventory accuracy for adherence to inventory controls.
- Analyze gross margin results, correct anomalies, identify trends, and communicate findings.
- Assist with month end balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensures bill of material structures and updates accurately reflect company inventory valuation policy and proper product costing.
- Plans, executes, and reconciles physical inventories.
- Prepares analysis of adjustments inventory activity and transaction reports
- Partners with Procurement / Manufacturing to minimize costs, improve quality and drive margin improvement.
- Direct inventory control and management and perform analysis of variance identified during inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventory to maintain inventory costs to budgeted levels.
Requirements :
