The Division of General Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals, are recruiting full-time and part-time faculty members to the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks of the Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, and In Residence faculty series.
Academic rank is commensurate with experience.
Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center and established training program. This position may have clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses and would actively contribute to the Department's mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care.
Qualified candidates will possess a medical degree and license, board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics, and a demonstrated interest in clinical pediatrics and clinical education.
Preferred qualifications for this position include fellowship training in General Pediatrics or at least one year of equivalent clinical experience, a proven ability to collaborate across pediatric disciplines, experience with teaching and supervising learners, an interest in caring for diverse patient populations, an interest in working to create high quality, equitable patient care, and an interest in an academic pediatrics career.
