Remote Medical Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities :

• Conduct professional, courteous, and articulate interviews and follow-up calls to gather pertinent personal and medical information.
• Review documents, notes, and correspondence to obtain additional or anecdotal information.
• Accurately enter data into the Application Interview System (AIS) and Assistant Underwriting System (AURA) to document case activity and ensure accurate processing and approval of life insurance policy contracts.
• Provide accurate, prompt, and professional service to all inquiries received by phone or in writing while maintaining departmental and time service standards.
• Correspond effectively within the department, underwriting staff, vendors, and other departments to resolve problems and expedite business.
• Communicate App Assist policies, procedures, and guidelines to internal and external customers effectively.

This is a Contract position based out of Frederick, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
