Department : Laboratory

Shift : PRN we are looking with someone with availability for morning run and Day shift M-F. Morning run is 2a-7a and Day shift for us is consider 7a-4p.

Experienced phlebotomist, with hospital experience preferred. Need someone reliable and mature professional that can work in a fast-paced high-volume environment.

JOB SUMMARY

The Phlebotomist 2 collects and processes quality specimens in a safe manner as outlined in BSWH policies and procedures. Aids in the delivery of exceptional patient care. Assists with training and auditing of behaviors and performance, as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE

Follows all established specimen collection, labeling, transportation, and handling procedures.

Responsible for high customer satisfaction through professional and ethical conduct.

Performs job responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner.

Performs clerical duties.

Demonstrates engagement with achieving department goals and continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Donor Phlebotomy Tech-ASCP (DPT), Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) : Must have a Phlebotomy Tech Cert from one of these agencies :

ASCP, NPA, ASPT, NCCT, NHA, AMT, NAHP, AMCA, AAH or ACA.

OR

Donor Phlebotomy Tech certification from the ASCP.

Experienced phlebotomist, with hospital experience preferred. Need someone reliable and mature professional that can work in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
