IT Project Manager

One of TEKsystems' large enterprise lever clients, is looking for a Sr. Project Manager to join their team.

Generally, we are looking for a project manager to be able to manage projects from A to Z from project charter builds to project planning, stakeholder management, etc. Since the PMO is new, a strong fundamental understanding of project management principles and best practices is required. Internally, there is a push to implement Agile / Scrum in a better way so any PM with Agile experience would be very beneficial.

The IT Project Manager will ensure IT practices stay aligned with business needs. This person will lead the cross-functional delivery of a range of technology deliverables using advanced negotiation facilitation planning and dependency management techniques.

• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, detailed tasks, and resource requirements from concept creation through implementation.
• Lead sprint planning and stand-up meetings to facilitate the entire project lifecycle from start to finish.
• Collaborate with technical and product teams to break complex multi-disciplinary technology projects into prioritized and properly scoped plans of action.
• Create clear visibility into status and progress within the team and for stakeholders.
• Identify and manage cross-team dependencies and risks.
• Define and drive mitigation plans

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00 / hr.
