Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant

The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for the Risk, Audit, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Diverse Segments, Representation and Inclusion (DSRI) and Public Affairs business lines.
These LOBs utilize our technology solutions to support all team members and all business lines across Wells Fargo. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.
This role supports the DSRI team which is focused on increasing diverse representation at all levels of the company, creating a more inclusive workplace environment, and better serving and growing our diverse customer segments and diverse suppliers across all lines of business.
We are seeking a Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant. This role will have the overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface with assigned business units or functional area for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.
This role will serve as the business relationship link between business units and IT at the executive level. They will provide high valued strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives to ensure growth capabilities for the organization.
In this role, you will :
- Lead complex initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams
- Act as a key participant in providing strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives
- Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives
- Define and lead detailed research on business and technology requests to develop efficient and accurate functional requirements
- Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions
- Lead project or systems documentation, and monitor and manage project schedules and deliverables
- Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for complex business problems
- Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams
Required Qualifications :
- 5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of experience synthesizing complex technical details and multifaceted business and technology strategies into executive communications
Desired Qualifications :
- Strong business acumen and understanding of how DE&I programs integrate into the business and support business objectives to execute effective and simple solutions
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in cross-functional and matrixed environment
- Previous experience within Agile environment (Scrum / Kanban)
- Proficiency in Jira, PowerPoint, Excel
- Working knowledge of Confluence, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Live Events
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, including an understanding of business economics and financial resources.
- Experience utilizing strategic thinking and planning and leveraging critical thinking to drive change that enable efficiencies and drives growth.
