Patient Access Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Access Pre-Service Representative.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-register patients for outpatient procedures and verify insurance information

Communicate and educate patients on their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities

Meet monthly collection targets and develop payment plans for patients as needed

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required

1-2 years of customer service and / or financial-related work experience

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Clear understanding of financial counseling's impact on Revenue Cycle operations

Ability to use PC-based office productivity tools effectively
