What You'll Do :

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.

Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to support a welcoming and orderly environment.

Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following established protocols for healthcare locations.

Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related events, observations, and activities.

Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or patients, providing assistance as needed and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements :

Applicants must have up-to-date vaccinations as required for hospital environments.

Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
