Cybersecurity Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Cybersecurity Team Leader to lead strategic cybersecurity initiatives across our organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Infrastructure & Network Security, cloud security, and application security, along with a broad background in IT operations and application development.

This role requires a visionary leader who can drive cross-functional collaboration, manage complex security projects, and mentor a high-performing cybersecurity team.

What You Will Do :

Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from planning through execution and delivery.

Develop and implement security strategies for networks, cloud environments, and applications.

Oversee incident response efforts and ensure timely resolution of security breaches.

Collaborate with IT operations, infrastructure, and development teams to integrate security best practices.

Design and enforce network segmentation policies to enhance security posture.

Utilize tools like ServiceNow and Azure DevOps for workflow automation, ticketing, and project tracking.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cybersecurity team members.

Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.

What You Have :

10+ years of experience in cybersecurity and IT domains.

Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams

Technical background in :

Application Security

Cloud Security (Azure, AWS, etc.)

Infrastructure & Network Security

Experience using ServiceNow and Azure DevOps or similar ticketing tools.

Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.

Preferred Industry Certifications :

CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional

CCSP - Certified Cloud Security Professional

Azure Security Engineer Associate

PMP - Project Management Professional (or equivalent)

Any GIAC Cybersecurity Certifications such as GSEC, GCLD, GCCC, GISF, GISP, etc.

Planning : Tactical, Strategic :

• Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.

The primary location for this position is Peoria, IL, Irving, TX or Nashville, TN.

THIS ROLE IS 5 DAYS ONSITE.

Summary Pay Range :

$144,960.00 - $217,320.00
