Accounting & Operations Specialist

We are seeking a full-time Accounting & Operations Specialist to join a newly established international chemical distribution company based in Fort Lee, NJ . This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a growing organization from its early stages, contributing to both accounting and operational functions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and eager to take on increasing responsibilities, including implementing an AI-powered ERP system and supporting financial and supply chain operations across the Americas.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the selection and implementation of an AI-powered ERP system under the guidance of company leadership.
• Manage end-to-end ERP processes, including data entry, tracking, and reporting.
• Prepare and review accounting and financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and process journal entries related to expenses, accounts receivable, inventory, and accruals.
• Analyze financial budgets, revenue, and expense trends, providing insights and recommendations.
• Support supply chain and logistics operations, particularly for importing and distributing products across the Americas.
• Collaborate with management to improve workflow efficiency and implement best practices in accounting and operations.
